Lemon Turmeric Tea

This is a classic recipe for the popular anti-inflammatory turmeric drink! Whenever I’m feeling sluggish and full, this drink lightens up my energy and I feel refreshed! Delicious and perfect hot or cold, this turmeric tea works miracles 🙂

Recipe (1 cup of tea)

Ingredients

2 cups hot water

1/4 – 1/2 tsp fresh or ground turmeric root

1/4 tsp fresh or ground ginger

1/2 – 1 tbsp maple syrup or raw sugar

juice from 1 lemon

optional fresh peppermint leaves

Instructions

CUP: combine all ingredients in a mug

WATER: add boiling water and let steep for 5 minutes

enjoy 🙂
