Vegan Sugar Cookies!

These vegan sugar cookies are so delicious and so quick you can have them ready in an hour! Simple ingredients, 2 bowls, and a spatula. That’s all you need and the best part.. they’re harmless 🙂 Whip up a batch for your boo and fill your home with the warm blanketing smell of cookies baking in the oven ♥




1/2 cup vegan butter (I use EarthBalance)

1/2 cup organic cane sugar

1/2 cup organic brown sugar

1 tbsp flax egg (1 tbsp flax powder + 2 tbsp water)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 3/4 cup all purpose white flour

1/2 tbsp cornstarch

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1-2 tsp almond milk


DRY: in a large bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cornstarch and salt

WET: using a hand mixer, cream the butter. Then add cane sugar and brown sugar and beat together for 1 minute

COMBINE: add dry mixture to wet about 1/2 cup at a time and mix together. Add almond milk to form a soft dough

FREEZE: for 15 minutes

OVEN: preheat to 350°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper

SCOOP: roll dough into 1-2 tbsp sized balls and place on tray about 1 inch apart

BAKE: for 10-12 minutes on the center rack of the oven
